Crazy Lace Agate

Mexican crazy lace agate is a type of agate that is characterized by color bands and swirls in a lacy pattern. Agate is a variety of micro-crystalline quartz that forms bands by the precipitation of the quartz grains in cavities. It is associated with volcanic rocks, which are common in Mexico due to the subduction of an oceanic plate underneath Mexico.
