Howlite

Howlite (sometimes called Howelite) was first found in Nova Scotia, and later, in California. It is one of those minerals that is famous for imitating another mineral – often that is turquoise because it can accept dyes pretty easily, and is often dyed blue or turquoise. Some prefer to paint on Howlite.
