Tree Agate

Tree agate is so named because of the green branch like inclusions. These green inclusions are typically iron and magnesium crystals that grew within a quartz background. The quartz may be white, gray or colorless and is sometimes translucent. Because it is not banded, it is not truly an agate. It is, however, dominantly quartz, which is typical of agates.

Tree agate is associated with the root chakra and represents stability.
