Wave Dolomite

Wave Dolomite (travertine), also known as Rolling Hills Dolomite, Mexican Dunes Dolomite or Desert Storm Dolomite, this amazing material deserves it’s many names, It is a very striking lapidary material from Mexico that exhibits fascinating, repeating orbs and waves of tan and mahogany brown in a very eye catching pattern. The hardness of the material is much softer than agate or jasper, but will still take a good polish to produce some great cabs or display pieces. It makes a great item to put in one’s collection.
